Team & permissions
Comlero lets you run the studio with a team without handing anyone the keys to everything. Invite an instructor or a staff member by email, pick their role, and set what they can reach area by area. An instructor who should mark attendance but never see your revenue takes two clicks, and on revenue and member data that is a database rule, not just a hidden menu item.
Owners and admins see everything, instructors and staff see only what you grant.
Invite them, pick a role, done
Send an invitation by email and choose whether they come in as an instructor or a staff member — each arrives on defaults that suit the role, which you then adjust area by area. Above them sit owner and admin, who see the whole studio, with billing kept to the owner alone. Someone can belong to more than one studio and switch between them, so a teacher who works at two schools keeps one login.
The role sets the starting point, every area is still yours to change.
Ten areas, three levels, no surprises
Instructors and staff each carry a permission map across ten areas of the studio — courses, members, events, services, revenue, announcements, newsletters, shop, team and settings — each set to view or manage, and switched off entirely for most of them. The areas holding your money and your member data go further than hiding a menu item: members, courses, revenue and newsletters are enforced in the database, so a staff member without revenue access cannot read your figures whatever route they take.
Set it once and it holds: members, courses, revenue and newsletters are enforced in the database.
Swap the teacher for a single lesson
Each course has its instructor, and each individual lesson can override it without touching the rest of the term. Open the lesson, pick who is actually teaching, and the change reaches the member app, the lesson page and everybody's calendar. Instructors also get a profile with a photo and a short bio, so members know who is taking the class.
Swap the teacher on a single lesson and everyone's calendar follows.
Their week, in the calendar they already use
Every person on your team gets a private subscription link that drops the lessons they teach, the events they run and their one-to-one bookings straight into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. It only shows what they deliver, unless they switch it to the whole studio. And when you write a newsletter, your team is left off the recipient list automatically.
It keeps itself up to date, so nobody has to open Comlero to see their week.
Questions studio owners ask
Can an instructor see what my studio earns?
Only if you give them the revenue area, and it is off for instructors by default. You can leave it off entirely, give view so they can see totals without changing anything, or give manage. The same choice exists for every other area.
Is there a limit on how many people I can add?
No. Your team is not what you pay for. Comlero is one price for the studio, so adding a second instructor or a weekend receptionist costs nothing extra.
What happens when someone leaves?
Remove them from the team and their access stops immediately, everywhere — the private calendar link they were subscribed to stops working the same moment. The lessons, the attendance they marked and the announcements they wrote all stay. Deleting their instructor profile clears their name from the courses and lessons it was set on, so assign someone else there if you want those filled in.
Can a teacher also be a member of my studio?
Yes. The same person can teach and take classes, and Comlero keeps the two apart: they appear on your team with their permissions, and in the member list with their own bookings.
